How a week works
A week is seven days in the house, and each day takes one hour of air time.
- Day 1Keyholder Competition. Everyone plays except last week's Keyholder. The winner is the Keyholder for the week and can't be nominated.
- Day 2Nominations. The Keyholder nominates two residents for eviction.
- Day 3Override Competition. The Keyholder, both nominees and up to three others drawn at random play for the Override.
- Day 4Override Ceremony. Whoever won the Override can take one nominee off the block. If they do, the Keyholder names a replacement.
- Day 7Eviction Night. Everyone except the Keyholder and the nominees votes to evict one nominee. The Keyholder breaks a tie.
Once the house is down to seven residents, everyone evicted joins the jury, five jurors in all.
When three are left, the final week has one Keyholder Competition, an endurance one. Its winner evicts one of the other two, and at the finale the jury votes for the winner.
