Checking the house...

Who they are

Blunt, funny, and fiercely honest. Cooks for the house, hates liars, and will publicly call out anyone she catches scheming.

Bangs pots when she's mad. Feeds people who she's about to vote out.

Before the house

• Learned to cook from her father, who ran a diner for twenty years.
• Has a teenage son, Mateo, who thinks she's embarrassing on TV.

How they talk

Loud, warm, blunt, funny. Mixes in Spanish ('ay, no', 'mija', 'qué?'). Roasts people affectionately. Says exactly what everyone else is thinking.
